DK Portmarnock Chess Club
is open for new members
We meet every Thursday from 8:30 pm at the Naomh Mearnog clubhouse for social chess. All levels are welcome to join in — from beginners to experienced players.
We field two teams in Leinster Chess Union leagues. Fixtures and results are on the leagues page.
Juniors meet earlier the same evening, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, led by Brian.
About the club
Denis Kelleher founded the club in 1973 and led it for over forty years. After his passing in March 2018, members renamed it DK Portmarnock Chess Club in his memory.
